CLAIRE PATRICIA ALLEN

Northampton, MA – Claire Patricia “Pat” (Hebert) Allen 94, a devoted
mother, meme, sister and aunt, passed away peacefully on September 3,
2025, surrounded by her loving children. Claire, a resident of
Northampton, Ma. was born on March 16, 1931, to the late Emil and
Claire (Bergeron) Hebert. She graduated from Northampton High School
in 1948 and received her nursing degree in 1951 from the Franklin
County Public School of Nursing, in Greenfield Ma. She worked as a
registered nurse at the former Providence Hospital in Holyoke, Ma.
until her retirement in 1996.

Claire, a devout Catholic, was a lifelong parishioner of the former
Sacred Heart Church, now St. Elizabeth Anne Seton parish in
Northampton, Ma. Her faith was a great source of strength and comfort
to her throughout her life. She attended daily mass until she
physically could not.

She was a master quilter, seamstress, cross stitcher, and a meticulous
ceramics maker. She was an avid reader, Disney fan, and world
traveler. She loved spending the holidays with her family; Christmas
being her favorite.

She leaves her loving children: Rebecca Carrancho of Gloucester, Ma.,
Cynthia Diemand (Paul) of Southampton, Ma. and Michael Allen (Susan)
of Bristow, Va. Her cherished grandchildren; Marc Diemand, Michelle
Carrancho (Janda Richi-Munn), Mariellen Morris (Kyle), Lisa Teixeria
(fiancรฉ Billy Hallahan), Melissa Diemand (Jarrod Grebing), Elizabeth
O’Malley (Kevin), and Nicholas Allen (Grace); great grandchildren
Fiona, Emma, Ryder, Vivien, Amelia, Willem, Patrick, and Lillian. She
also leaves her sister Pamela Feeney of Easthampton, Ma. and her
nephew Brendan Feeney and her niece and godchild, Maura Feeney (Chris
Stortz).

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by an infant brother;
son-in-law, John Carrancho; brother-in-law, John Feeney; and her
grandson-in-law, Kevin Teixeira.

The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to her caregivers,
Sharon and Shelia, and the Hospice nurses for their compassionate care
of our mother.

The Czelusniak Funeral Home of Northampton is overseeing the
arrangements. The service will take place at a later date.
