I will write-in Megan Wolf on my Ward 4 November ballot because I think she is the best candidate to represent me on School Committee.

Megan has the chops. She has quietly done the unglamorous work of committees in our city — 2012 Charter Review Committee, a citizen committee called the Capital Improvements Committee, and an Ad Hoc Sewer and Stormwater Committee. She has strong understanding and experience with municipal budgets and cares deeply about public education. Megan has first-hand experiences that make her an advocate for the needs of those in specialized education and I know she will push for funding reform on both charter schools and state allocations.

Megan has always held citizen participation as an important value. In addition to her own extensive work (see her website) she married a man who has done civic work, including as mayor’s office chief of staff since David Narkewicz hired him in 2019.

I wish I could say she was a good politician, but it is indisputable that it would have been prudent to announce in time to get on the ballot. We are lucky she did make the huge commitment to step up and run.

I am hoping you will take the time to review her background, listen to her story, ask her your questions, and write in Megan Wolf.
