Amherst, MA – Patrica Beth Smallman, 81, passed away September 15th, peacefully in her own home. The daughter of Harriette and Jules Kaufman of New York, she spent her entire professional career helping others. She obtained a nursing degree at Mass General and a Masters degree in social work at Umass Amherst.
She is survived by her son, Gabriel, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, siblings, nephews, and countless friends whom she loved dearly and considered family.
She was known for doing things in her own unique and amazing way. Her dinner parties brought so many people together as did her huge dogs.
She will be forever missed by so many people whose lives she touched and brought into her own.
There will be a lunch held at her home on Sunday, Nov 9th, at 12:00pm to celebrate her life with family and friends.
