The Leverett Education Foundation is pleased to report the successful conclusion of its sixth annual fund drive.  Thanks to the wonderful generosity of the people of Leverett and surrounding communities, the foundation was able to raise over $22,000 this fall — funds that next spring will be turned into grants to help support Leverett Elementary School teachers and staff.

At a time of growing financial challenges for our town, the foundation also wants to express our deep appreciation to the Leverett and area businesses who contributed to this year’s fund drive:

Grass Roots Landscaping (Leverett); Apollo Contracting (Leverett); Greenfield Savings Bank (Greenfield); Frog Hollow Farm (Leverett); Jamrog HVAC (Turners Falls); Woodsmith Forestry (Montague); Sugarloaf Gardens (Sunderland); Sexton Roofing (Northampton); West Branch Capital (Amherst); Minuteman Pest Control (Northampton); Treehouse Orthodontics (Northampton); Pioneer Valley Environmental (Ware); and Pelham Auto (Belchertown).

The contributions made by Leverett households and local and area businesses not only make possible much-needed financial assistance for our elementary school, but also send a vote of confidence in the women and men who each day of the school year demonstrate their dedication to our children and their education.
