Thomas R. Rudzik

South Hadley, MA – Thomas R. Rudzik, age 87, of Southampton, passed away on Sunday, January 4, 2026 at Cooley Dickinson Hospital surrounded by his family. He was born in Holyoke, son of the late Joseph Rudzik, Sr. and Elizabeth (Partyka) Rudzik, and was a 1956 graduate of the former Sacred Heart High School in Holyoke. Tom was a member the Massachusetts National Guard, he worked for Food Mart as a produce manager, worked as a realtor for Edmund G. Woods and had retired from the Holyoke Fire Department in 1982. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Barbara (Johnson) Rudzik who he married on June 7, 1958. Tom leaves three children: Diane Morisi, Thomas Rudzik, Jr., and his wife Debora, and Terri Hewes; three grandchildren: Elaina Morisi, Anthony Morisi and Matthew Hewes, and many nieces and nephews. Tom enjoyed golf, baseball, hunting, fishing and nature photography. He was a member of the Holyoke, Springfield and Easthampton Photography Clubs, the Massachusetts Firefighters Association, was a life member of the Holyoke Lodge of Elks and belonged to the East Mountain Golf League. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Joseph Rudzik, Jr., Robert Rudzik, Paul Rudzik and Richard Rudzik. All services are private. The Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
