I spoke to a No Kings protester who told me she was there to “make noise.” If you’re like her, here are just a few things you can do with your loud voice right away, each week.
Bring your energy and voice to one of the many weekly standouts in our area. Join us at the weekly Standout for Veterans and all Federal Workers on Mondays, 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Leeds. Or bring a friend and attend an overpass standout or one of the standouts calling out businesses for cooperating with and funding ICE.
Use your time and voice to make phone calls (from the comfort of home) to voters to support pro-democracy campaigns and candidates at the federal and state level. Training and support is provided. We know phone calls work! Afternoons and evenings each week.
