Northampton, MA – Peter Martunes Jr. passed away on Friday July 3, 2026 at Cooley Dickinson Hospital. Peter was born on November 10, 1952.
Peter had an active childhood and adult life. He enjoyed riding motorcycles with his cousin Ronnie and his numerous cars and trucks. He travelled with his parents when he was young to numerous places. He then became disabled and limited in what he could do. After being limited to a wheelchair, he never lost his humor or good intentions for life.
He is predeceased by his mother, Mary (Matrishon) Martunes, and his father, Peter Martunes Sr.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday July 15 at 10am at the Annunciation Chapel in Florence. He will be laid to rest with his parents at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Northampton.
