It is disappointing that the Gazette’s news coverage of the Dec. 10 march from Northampton to Springfield failed to mention that Hamas’ terrorist attacks against innocent Israelis commenced on Oct. 7, before any Israeli retaliatory raids on Gaza. This omission may lead readers to overlook or forget that Israel did not start the current Middle East conflict.
It’s also sad that those seeking to protect Gaza residents often overlook Hamas’ atrocities and the need to free Israeli hostages. This is not a time for “daydreaming” marches that fail to look at the entire situation.
