Cathedral City, CA – David Alan Paye, 62, passed away on September 2, 2026 in Cathedral City, CA. Born to David and Beverly (Bell) Paye on February 7, 1964 in Barre, Vt.
David grew up in Hatfield and was active in Boy Scouts, HS theater, and was President of his senior class. David graduated from Smith Academy in 1982. He attended Emerson College and Northeastern University in Boston, where he studied business, politics and law. He graduated from Northeastern University in 1987 and moved to CA with friends.
David worked as a professional business owner for over 35 years, and ran a successful staffing fulfillment agency. When he wasn’t working, David enjoyed being with family and friends and his little dog Sassy. He loved listening to music.
David was predeceased by his mother Beverly. He is survived by his father David Paye, his sister Joanne Woodard (Wayne), nieces Lauren Woodard (Daniel Jordan), Haley Fraher (Michael), and grandnephews, Jacob and Isaac Jordan.
An In-House Service will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2026 at 10:00AM, with burial to follow at Main Street Cemetery in Hatfield.
