The Minnechaug boys lacrosse team jumped out to a big lead en route to a 12-3 victory over Northampton, Saturday in Wilbraham.
The Blue Devils fell to 6-5 with the loss.
Matt Huggett, Henry Higgins and Ian Shaw (assist) each had a goal in the fourth quarter for Northampton, which trailed 9-0 after three quarters.
Bryce Wall made 11 saves in defeat.
Northampton hosts Pope Francis at 4 p.m. Monday in a battle of Valley League first-place teams. Both squads are 3-1 in the conference.
Pope Francis is 8-5 overall.
