HADLEY — Nomination forms to run for elective office at the April 9 town election are available at the town clerk’s office at Town Hall.

The ballot will feature two, three-year terms on the Select Board, seats currently held by David J. Fill II and John Waskiewicz II, a three-year position on the School Committee held by Heather Klesch, as well as a five-year position on the Planning Board and two, three-year terms as library trustees.

Fill, elected to a one-year position in 2018 to fill an unexpired seat, and Klesch, elected in 2013, both said they will be seeking reelection. In fact, Fill has already picked up his nomination papers. Waskiewicz would be seeking his third, three-year term if he runs again.

Town Clerk Jessica Spanknebel said one position, town treasurer, has been removed from the ballot based on action by annual Town Meeting last May to make both the treasurer and collector appointed positions. The state attorney general recently approved this change, meaning that treasurer Linda Sanderson will not have to run for reelection and will serve at least through the election, and beyond pending an appointment by the Select Board.

Susan Glowatsky, who as collector holds the other newly appointed position, will serve until April 2021 after being reelected in 2018.

Residents interested in running for elective office have until Feb. 14 to obtain nomination papers.

The following other positions are on the ballot along with incumbents holding these seats: moderator for one year, Brian West; assessor for three years, Richard Grader; Board of Health for three years, Greg Mish; Planning Board for five years, John Mieczkowski; library trustee for three years, Meghan Campbell and David Moskin; Park Commission for three years, Diane Kieras-Coilkos; town clerk for three years, Jessica Spanknebel; constable for three years, William R. Banack and Richard Downie; Housing Authority for two years, Richard Witkos; elector under the Oliver Smith Will for one year, Sheila Konieczny.
