Tyler Thomas scored 25 of his game-high 27 points in the second half, as the Williston Northampton boys basketball team beat Suffield, 62-55, on the road Wednesday.
Thomas hit 8 of 8 free throws.
Northampton’s Nick Heafey scored 10 points, and John Kelly added 11.
Williston 54, Suffield 34 — Sarah Sullivan scored 19 points, while Jordy Meunier added 12 in a home win. Emma Gentile chipped in nine points.
Williston 3, Berkshire 0 — Emily Zambrano, Claudia Capone and Bryn Saarela each found the net in a home win. Tayah Sommer picked up the shutout.
Mount Institute Ski League Race No. 1 — Lily Shields paced Williston, finishing sixth in the girls slalom. She completed her first run at Berkshire East in 39.8 seconds and her second in 41.32 for a combined time of 81.12.
Williston placed fourth with 76 points. Deerfield Academy won with 200.
On the boys side, Williston placed fifth with 148 points, while Deerfield won with 306.
