Name: Alden Poetter
Where: Main St. Northampton
Hometown: Chesterfield
Age: 19
Next fall: Transferring to UMass, majoring in marketing
His outfit: “I woke up and I said I’m going to wear stripes and polka dots today! I asked my mother, ‘is this okay?’ and she’s the type of person who’d be like, ‘absolutely not,’ like no, but I went with it anyway.”
He’s tall!: “I’m 6-foot-7. That can be tough because everything is a crop pant, but right now a lot of people are wearing crop pants, so I’ve gotten away with it. Normally it was a battle, I had three pairs of pants that were long enough!”
Working at Local Burger and the “melee”: “There was one fight, and it started inside for 3 seconds, and immediately went outside. I was there that night — I work that shift. We stay open until 3 a.m. Everyone gets out of the bars, everyone’s drunk, we don’t serve after 12, but everyone’s like, ‘I want to eat for 3 hours!’ And it gets messy, no matter what.”
His brows: “I use Anastasia Dip Brow, but I don’t use a brush. I use the pencil because I want it to last a year instead of a week.”
Summer plans: “I travel a lot; I’m going to London in a month and a half.”
At Hampshire Regional: “I didn’t dress as I do now, it was still ‘more’ than normal I would say, but now I just don’t even care!”
