Why is it that racists are the last ones to recognize their racist obsessions?
Donald Trump will go to his grave proclaiming that he is not a racist.
The Confederacy and its supporters will go to their graves proclaiming that the Civil War was about states rights and not enforcing the horrors and injustices of slavery. Yet, if the Confederacy had won, slavery would have been sustained and expanded.
If Trump were to win in 2020, then it is a certainty that the U.S. would become an even more horrific white nationalist country.
Yet all of this is fervently denied every day.
