On Thursday Democratic voters have the opportunity to select an outstanding nominee for Hampshire County Sheriff — Melissa Perry.
As a former colleague for nearly 20 years, I have seen her in action. She’s steady and calm in any circumstance, she thinks clearly, she listens and collaborates and she gets results.
Melissa has been a tireless advocate on behalf of individuals served by the psychiatric and addictions programs she directs, and I know she’ll bring the same drive, fresh ideas and exceptional leadership to the Hampshire County cheriff’s office.
She inspires the best in her team, she makes things work, and she makes things happen.
