I am so glad I don’t live in Texas. Can’t get into everything, too much to cover. Previously, a big issue was how they were one of the first states to essentially ban abortion. Now another big issue just appeared. Late last month, a federal judge in Fort Worth ruled against a law prohibiting most 18- to 20-year-olds from carrying a handgun outside the home. The state has now removed almost all restrictions/controls over gun ownership and carrying. No license, no background checks, no training required, and anyone over the age of 18 is OK. And carry it with you wherever you go. Wonder who they will blame when there is a huge increase in gun injuries and deaths beyond the increase already seen in the past couple of years. Thank God that common sense prevails here in Massachusetts.
