Drs. Robin Karlin and Bud Allen: Update from pet doctors

Published: 07-26-2023 5:57 PM

We know that many in our community were distressed when Family Veterinary Center in Haydenville closed its doors abruptly on May 2. As the founders and previous owners, it was the last thing we wanted or expected for our clients and their pets of the last 37 years.

When we sold our practice in December 2022 we expected to stay on for the next two years. Unfortunately Dr. Robin got injured at work and had to undergo two spinal surgeries and we were both terminated and the doors were locked.

This was not how we expected this to go. Please know that all of you have become the fabric of our lives and we hope that everybody’s fur babies are well cared for. We are so sorry but we can not legally contact any of you. On a brighter note, Dr. Bud is still doing his equine work.
