As a Democrat, I’m tired of being threatened with “civil war” by the MAGA crowd if their candidate doesn’t win. As the grandchild of immigrants with “funny names,” I’m tired of being told that I’m somehow less of an American than people with a “better pedigree.” As the parent of a transgender person, I’m tired of hearing people like my child being vilified by bigots. As the son of a union man, I’m tired of seeing an anti-union party dress itself up as the defender of working people. And finally, as an American, I’m sick to death of seeing an addled con man, predator, and insurrectionist insist that “he alone” has a right to the highest office in the land.

I could go on but come November, I know who I’m voting for. And it isn’t Donald Trump.
