No contests on ballot in Goshen

GOSHEN — Voting in the town election is set for Saturday, June 3, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the John James Memorial Hall.

There are no contested elections on the ballot, and no names have been put forward for some positions.

Kristine Bissell is seeking reelection to a three-year-seat on the Select Board. Incumbents Heather Crocker Aulenback and Paul Marcinek are on the ballot for the Chesterfield/Goshen and Hampshire regional school committees, respectively.

Incumbent Dawn Scaparotti is running for one of the two three-year seats on the Finance Committee, while the other is lacking a candidate. Also lacking candidates on the election ballot are two library trustee positions and a five-year seat on the Planning Board.

Other incumbents seeking reelection are Joshua Lafond, Board of Health; Rosemary Bienz, library trustee; and Roger Culver, Robert Goss and Richard Polwrek, Tilton Fruit Farm supervisors.

Moderator Keith Wright and assessor Paula Pedersen, both incumbents, were nominated by the caucus to serve again. Other caucus nominees are Sabrina McGill, almoner, and Robert Raymond and Gary Griswold for two vacant Planning Board seats.
