Ethan Salem reached base four times, but the Northampton Mickey Mantle baseball team lost 6-4 to Dalton on Wednesday in Florence.

Salem also had an RBI to go with two walks.

Springfield 6, Northampton 4 — Tim Horton had three hits and drove in all four of Post 28’s runs. He hit a single in the third inning and a three-run double in the seventh.

Kevin Banas also hit a single in the fourth for Northampton (3-1).
