The story of the Democratic primary has been the startling, enthusiastic and sustained response to the Bernie Sanders platform. Despite being ignored by the establishment, and receiving no money and little attention from them, the actual people have found their voice.

The editors of the Gazette covering the results of Super Tuesday in Massachusetts last week continued this pattern of denial by simply declaring Clinton the winner — as if to say “move along now, show is over, you can go back to sleep.”

The people deserve a fourth estate that reflects honestly their spirit, rather than bury it under a wet blanket  to comfort the comfortable.
