A six-goal second quarter was too much to overcome as the UMass men’s lacrosse team fell, 16-4, to No. 15 Albany, Tuesday at Garber Field.
Brendan Hegarty scored one goal and added one assist, while Nick DeSisto, Peter Lindley and Shane Madden each had one goal.
D.J. Smith (three saves) and Dan Dolan (two saves) and Sean Sconone (four saves).
UMass (2-4) hosts No. 10 North Carolina at 1 p.m. Saturday.
