I don’t want Northampton City Council to vote on any more “resolutions.”
These impotent exercises seem to be an excuse for City Council President William Dwight to use big words. I am tired of blowhards seeking self-affirmation. I don’t care about anyone’s sexuality. All lives matter. Done.
Another new increase in my water/sewer bills? I’ll stop recycling cans and bottles. I can’t waste water (money) rinsing them out. Lawns will die, gardens will disappear. Paradise lost. Oh, well.
Extravaganja in Northampton — recreational marijuana use is currently illegal. Will my tax dollars (for police, traffic control, ambulances) be used to support an illegal activity? The answer had best be no. I do not want my taxes to cover concerts at the University of Massachusetts put on to keep young idiots from misbehaving. A helicopter for crowd control? Did I pay for that? Did you?
Bernie Sanders – I do not want to pay more taxes so my neighbors’ kids can go to college for free. And certainly not to UMass. Our current, and potential, leaders (local, state and federal) are out of control. What to do?
