Northampton High School graduate Leila Kouakou scored 4 minutes, 11 seconds into overtime to lift the Mount Holyoke women’s lacrosse team past Fitchburg Sate, 11-10, Tuesday in Clermont, Florida.

Kouakou finished with two goals for the Lyons (1-2).

Julia Bell had six goals, while Catherine Ryan had four assists to become the program’s all-time leader in that category with 125 in her career.

Amherst 14, McDaniel 6 — Hanna Krueger had three goals and Rachel Passarelli had three as Amherst (2-1) won in Clermont, Florida.

Men’s lacrosse

Western New England 10, Amherst 8 — The Golden Bears outscored No. 4 Amherst 5-2 in the fourth quarter to pull off the upset.

Dylan Park had four goals for Amherst.

Softball

SUNY Geneseo 4, Amherst 0; Amherst 15, Framingham State 3 — Kyra Naftel went 4 for 7 with two RBIs and a run scored as Amherst splits its doubeleader in Winter Garden, Florida.

Baseball

Harvard 5, UMass 1 — Brett Evangelista went 2 for 3 but the Minutemen (1-6) fell in Clearwater, Florida.

Johns Hopkins 8, Amherst 7 (10) — Anthony Spina (RBI), Ariel Kenney (two RBIs) and Yanni Thanopoulos (RBI) each had three hits but Amherst (5-5-1) fell in Fort Myers, Florida.

Men’s tennis

Amherst 6, Pomona-Pitzer 3 — No. 8 Amherst held off the No. 11 Sagehens to stay undefeated at 5-0.

Women’s tennis

UMass 4, College of Charleston 3 —  Laura Moreno’ s tie-breaker win at No. 6 singles broke the tie in her match as well as the entire contest at UMass won of the road.
