Christopher Hardy, 21, of 986 South East St., Apartment B, was arrested at 8:14 p.m. Monday at his home on a warrant.

Police plan to conduct additional security checks at the West Cemetery after a large number of cans and other debris were found there at 8:55 p.m. Sunday. 

Llamas in a field at the former Bioshelters property, 500 Sunderland Road, got loose three times during the weekend, the first at 8:29 a.m. Saturday and again at 9:53 a.m. and 11:14 a.m. Sunday. The llamas were safely escorted back into their field.

A 27-year-old Springfield man will be summoned to court on charges of breaking and entering to commit a misdemeanor and wanton destruction of property under $250 following an incident at a Fairfield Street home reported at 11:26 a.m. Saturday. Police said the man allegedly broke into his former girlfriend’s residence by damaging an exterior door and was taking a shower when the resident returned home.

A resident at North East Terrace, 232 North East St., reported at 5:08 p.m. Friday that someone scratched a ticktacktoe board into the hood of his vehicle. No suspects have been identified.

Northampton

Jason Talbot, 21, of 33 Wilson Ave., was arrested 12:54 a.m. Sunday on charges of assault with a deadly weapon and carrying a dangerous weapon. Security at Platform Sports Bar, 125A Pleasant St., told police Talbot was involved in an argument with another man inside the bar and threatened to stab him with his pocket knife. 

Alexandra I. Cooper, 28, of Conway, was arrested at 11:51 a.m. Sunday on charges of shoplifting and possessing a Class B substance at Big Lots, 178 N. King St. Police said Cooper was also in possession of a pipe containing traces of crack. 

And police said there were three warrants for Cooper’s arrest, all for larceny, with two issued by Holyoke District Court and the other from Eastern Hampshire District Court in Belchertown. 

Mark A. Matherson, 48, 17 N. Maple St., Apt. 13, Florence, was arrested Sunday on a charge of shoplifting after security at Wal-Mart, 180 N. King St., reported he was trying to conceal items valued at $28.45, including gum, face wash, boxer underwear and deodorant. 

Easthampton

Ryan S. Boyer, 24, of 13 Orchard St., was arrested on Orchard Street at 1:08 p.m. Sunday on a charge of violating an abuse prevention order.
