Amherst College senior Emily Hyde won the 200-yard individual medley in 2 minutes, 1.15 seconds at the NCAA Division III championships, Wednesday in Greensboro, North Carolina.

On Thursday, Mount Holyoke senior Cathleen Pruden placed third in the 400 IM in 4:22.21.

Both swimmers earned All-American status.

Women’s lacrosse

Amherst 13, Dickinson 7 — Rachel Passarelli had four goals, while Mia Haughton, Coco Kusiak and Mary Grace Cronin each had two as AC (3-1) won in Clermont, Florida, Thursday.

Softball

RPI 6, Smith 5; Calvin 6, Smith 5 — Rowan Turner had two hits against RPI, while Natalie Burchat and Tori Brown had two each against Calvin, but the Pioneers (4-6) dropped the doubleheader in Clermont, Florida.

Women’s tennis

UMass 5, Towson 2 — The Minutewomen (8-6) won four of six singles matches to win their third straight match with the victory at the College of Charleston Tennis Center, in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina.
