This letter is in regard to the solar bill and specifically the net metering credits currently before the Legislature.
Any elected official who proposes or votes in favor of cutting the credits or lowering the current retail rate should quite simply be voted out of office.
Any such action would be sufficient evidence that either they had not adequately done their jobs by fully understanding all the issues and consequences, or they are more concerned with the profits of the utility companies over the good of the general public.
Even people without solar installations should be following this as it is a good indicator of who these politicians are actually working for.
Letโs all keep an eye on the outcome so we know how to vote in the next elections.
