Strong winds have caused an estimated 50 Pioneer Valley homes to lose power, as of Tuesday morning.
Winds from the northwest are reported at 15 to 25 mph, with gusts reaching up to 50 mph, according to the National Weather Service in Taunton.
As of 8:30 a.m., five National Grid customers in the Belchertown area and five in the Goshen area are among those without power. Eversource is reporting 40 customers without power in the Chesterfield area, as well as one in Westhampton.
A wind advisory issued by the National Weather Service in Taunton remains in effect until 2 p.m. this afternoon.
