NORTHAMPTON — As part of a technology fund drive at Northampton High School, a number of city restaurants will donate 10 percent of their Tuesday sales to the school’s parent teacher organization.
This year, 30 restaurants are taking part in the “Eat for Education” event, according to a PTO release. Participating businesses can be identified by posters of a laptop atop a pile of books.
The proceeds will be used to buy technology teachers have requested.
The participating businesses are Amanouz Café, Bela, Bueno Y Sano, Caminito, China Wok Express, Cooper’s Corner, Cup & Top Café, Eastside Grill, GoBerry, The Great Wall, The Green Bean, Haymarket Café, Herrell’s, Ibiza Tapas, India House, Jake’s, Joe’s Café, Local Burger, Mosaic Café, Noodles, Osaka, Paul & Elizabeth’s, Roberto’s, Siam Square, Sip, State Street Deli, Sylvester’s, Taipei & Tokyo, Thai Garden and Zen.
