Two juvenile females were observed shoplifting $23.14 worth of merchandise from Wal-Mart on Sunday at 2:02 p.m. Police plan to file charges after the investigation is complete.

Richard Raymond Blais, 52, of Buckland, was arrested on charges of operating under the influence of alcohol (3rd offense) and negligent operation of a motor vehicle Sunday at 1:28 a.m.

Leigh Sumner Daniels, 23, of 65 Olive St., Northampton, was arrested on charges of operating under the influence of alcohol, a marked lanes violation and following another vehicle too closely on North Main Street Sunday at 12:17 a.m.

Christopher Nichols, 28, of Shelburne Falls, was arrested on charges of operating a motor vehicle with no front license plate and operating a motor vehicle with a revoked license due to habitual traffic offenses after a traffic stop on Elm Street on Saturday at 1:49 a.m. 

Allison Anne Courtney, 29, of Greenfield, was arrested on charges of operating under the influence of alcohol and speeding (3rd offense) on King Street Saturday at 1:03 a.m.

Police responded to a one-vehicle accident Friday at 9:35 p.m. which led to two arrests. 

Adam Andrew Lord, 41, of 55 Cummington Road in West Chesterfield, was observed by police behind the wheel of the crashed vehicle at the intersection Chesterfield and Montague roads, and arrested on charges of operating under the influence of alcohol (2nd offense) and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.

Police allege that Debra Carol Laliberte, 50, of 55 Cummington Road in Chesterfield, was actually the operator of the vehicle. Laliberte was arrested on charges of operating under the influence of alcohol (3rd offense) and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.

A male student allegedly punched another male student at Northampton High School Friday at 1:05 p.m. The school is handling the incident.
