HADLEY – Hadley police and firefighters responded to Westgate Center Drive Tuesday shortly after 6 p.m. for a report of suspicious materials in the road.
In a post on the department’s Facebook page, Hadley police said an hour later that they determined the materials were not hazardous.
The materials turned out to be a jug of old motor oil, police said Wednesday.
