HADLEY — Old Bay Road was closed for about 45 minutes Thursday morning while police and fire departments responded to a crash.
At around 10:30 a.m. a 23-year-old Amherst man crashed into a roadside tree in the Russell Street area of Old Bay Road. Hadley police said in a Facebook post that “speed was believed to be a factor.”
Officer Ken Hartwright said the driver was removed without mechanical means and was transported to Cooley Dickinson Hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.
