Abby Baldwin and Megan McCarthy led the way for the Northampton girls lacrosse team against Brattleboro Union on Monday.

They scored five goals each in a 19-5 home win.

Grace Goodwin-Boyd added three goals and five assists for the Blue Devils (2-0).

Bridget Harrington made seven saves for Northampton.

Belchertown 17, Chicopee Comp 1 — Seven Orioles scored in a home win.

Emma Jopson led the way with six goals and two assists for Belchertown (1-1).

Kate Bowers added four goals and two assists, while Abby Robinson totaled two goals and an assist and Audrey Duhaime scored twice.

Kailey Pacheco stopped 10 shots in goal for the Orioles.

Agawam 19, South Hadley 2 — Taylor Roy and Marley Medina each scored for the Tigers (0-2).

Hanna Kopec assisted on goal by Roy.

Boys lacrosse

Northampton 10, Brattleboro Union 8 — Tyler Allcroft scored three goals and dished out an assist as the Blue Devils picked up their first win of the season at home.

Northampton (1-1) had six players score.

Henry Higgins and Kyle Luzzi-Dundon added two goals each, while Henry Attias, Matt Huggett and Ian Shaw each scored once.

Shaw also had four ground balls, while Attias led the team with six.

Bryce Wall made nine saves for Northampton.

Pope Francis 20 Granby 6 — Nick Roberts scored five times, but Granby lost at home.

Bailey Ortensi added a goal and Devin Kwisnek made eight saves for the Rams (0-1).

East Longmeadow 10, Amherst 7 — Aidan Bass scored four goals in the Hurricanes’ home loss

Vance Canella, Daniel Lyra and Willie Wright also found the net for Amherst (1-2). Jake Hibbard made 12 saves.

The Hurricanes had a lead in the second half but couldn’t hold it.
