The Belchertown boys tennis team beat West Springfield 5-0 in the Orioles’ season opener Monday.
Senior Trent Zulkiewicz started the day winning first singles in straight sets, 6-4, 6-4.
Upperclassmen took control for the Orioles.
Senior Ryan Kearney, junior Jon Vinagre and the doubles pair of juniors Dennis Lelic and Alec Morgado all won their matches in straight sets.
