I was struck by the irony of Jan Alicia Nettler’s guest column, “In defense of ‘unpledged delegates’” (March 31) in which she argues: “There is no requirement or law” for the Democratic Party “to use democratic methods.”
While that may be technically true, Nettler unwittingly pulls back the curtain and reveals why sensible people seek alternatives to a system masquerading as democracy.
