Nick Garofano delivered the Williston Northampton boys lacrosse team its first win of the season Wednesday.
Garofano led the way with four goals and three assists in a 14-4 win at Kimbal Union.
South Hadley’s Saul Blain made nine saves for Williston (1-2).
Joey Ford had three goals for a hat trick.
Williston 8, Salisbury 5 (8) — Patrick Beaton picked up the win in relief and had two hits in a road win.
Zach Bernstein, JT Chamberlain and Mike Mieczkowski also had two hits for the Wildcats (2-0).
Williston 17, Miss Porter’s 3 — Madison Fulcher -Melendy (Easthampton) scored five goals with two assists, and Meg Szawlowski (Leeds) added four goals and four assists in a road win.
Tara Sullivan made seven saves for the Wildcats (4-0).
Williston 5, Pomfret 3 — Eighth-grader Ken Wang won at the No. 3 singles to help the Wildcats to a road victory.
Zack Robbins (No. 1 singles), Joey Robbins (No. 4 singles), Nithish Raja (No. 5 singles) and Justin Park (No. 6 singles) also won for Williston (1-1).
Williston 9, Wilbraham & Monson 0 — The Wildcats moved to 3-0.
Williston 5, Ethel Walker 0; Hotchkiss 3, Willston 2 — Nancy Kang shot a 42 to lead the Wildcats (1-1).
Suffield 11, Williston 7 — Abbie Cosica scored five goals, while Liv Cuevas added the other two in a home loss.
Leeanna Albanese chipped in two assists for Williston (0-3).
Dylan Fulcher-Melendy (Easthampton) made seven saves and four steals, while Lizzie Cuevas stopped four shots and stole five passes.
Williston 12, Amherst JV 6 — Kevin Lee threw four passes for goals and defended two passes in a road win.
