Darbie Lynn Young, 38, who listed an address as the streets of Amherst, was arrested at 8:28 p.m. Wednesday outside the Jones Library, 43 Amity St., on charges of violating the town’s open container bylaw and resisting arrest.
Daniel Paul Davenport, 43, who listed an address as the streets of Amherst, was arrested at 4:49 p.m. Wednesday at the CVS Pharmacy, 76 North Pleasant St., on a charge of trespassing.
Bryan Duran-Hernandez, 25, of Holyoke, was arrested at 10:03 a.m. Wednesday on North Pleasant Street on a charge of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
Police were called to the Craig’s Place homeless shelter, 434 North Pleasant St., after one man threatened to punch another man in the face at 7:46 a.m. Tuesday.
Police are investigating the attempted theft of merchandise valued at “several hundred dollars” from the CVS Pharmacy, 165 University Drive, reported by management at 8:38 p.m. Monday. The male suspect fled before police arrived.
