I have always found U.S. Rep. Richard Neal to be level-headed and conscientious in his role and leadership in Congress on things that matter to me.
However, why as a superdelegate is Rep. Neal planning to vote for former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton when Bernie Sanders is the person who won the majority of the district he represents?
In the First Congressional District, Sanders won the Berkshires by a margin of 4 percent, Franklin County by 41 percent, Hampshire County by 26 percent and in Worcester County by 8.5 percent.
The only county Clinton won was Hampden, and it was only by a 3 percent margin. (This data is from Politico.com.)
Sanders is wanted by an overwhelming majority of his constituents. I implore Rep. Neal to represent and be the direct voice of the people he serves.
