SOUTH HADLEY — Massachusetts State Police assisted South Hadley authorities Friday evening after what authorities described as a serious collision involving a motorcycle and car on Route 202 near Hillside Avenue.
South Hadley and state police units responded at about 6:40 p.m., and emergency responders and a State Police accident reconstruction team were still at the accident scene at 9 p.m. Friday, police said.
Details about the cause of the accident or the identities of those involved were not immediately known.
