The Williston Northampton baseball team remained undefeated with an 8-1 victory over Canterbury, Saturday in Easthampton.

Jared Freilich struck out five and allowed two hits over six innings for his first win of the season.

Williston helped Freilich with three runs each in the first and second innings.

Chris Espinalโ€™s two-out double scored Florence native Ian Ostberg (single, stolen base) and Justin Frometa in the first. JT Chamberlain single in Espinal.

In the second, Frometa doubled in Cody Cavanaugh and Ostberg (double). Espinal singled in Frometa.

Boys Lacrosse

Millbrook 10, Williston 1 โ€“ Aidan Rai scored for the Wildcats on the road Saturday.

Girls Lacrosse

Williston 13, Berkshire 4 โ€“ Meg Szawlowski (Leeds) had three goals and four assists, while Caitlin Keefe added three and two, respectively, in the win Saturday.

Tara Sullivan made seven saves for the Wildcats (5-0).

Boys Tennis

Williston 6, Millbrook 1 โ€“The Wildcats got victories Zack Robbins (No. 1 singles), Nikhil Sierros (No. 2), Ken Wang (No. 3), Nithish Raja (No. 5), Justin Park (No. 6) and their doubles team Saturday.

Boys Golf

Williston 396, Avon Old Farms 396, Loomis Chaffee 400 โ€“ Jacob Zaranek (South Deerfield) earned medalist honors with a 73 as the Wildcats swept at Wintonbury Hills in Bloomfield, Connecticut, Saturday.

Jack Phelan added a 77 for Williston, which beat Avon via a tiebreaker.

Girls Golf

Taft 4, Williston 1, Williston 4, Westminster 1 โ€“ Sabrina Sampson earned medalist honors with a 46 to pace the Wildcats (2-2) in the split at Watertown Golf Club Saturday.

Girls Water Polo

Phillips Andover 15, Williston 6; Greenwich 15, Williston 11 โ€“ Olivia Cuevas scored nine goals and Abigail Coscia added seven but the Wildcats were swept Saturday.
