Hunter Salem flirted with a per game as the Northampton baseball team beat Ludlow, 13-0, Tuesday.
Salem took a perfect game into the bottom of the sixth inning, but the Lions led off with a single to break it up.
Salem struck out eight for Hamp (2-1) in the road win.
Will O’Connor (2 for 4, four RBIs) belted a three-run homer in the seventh for Northampton. Salem also went 2 for 4.
Beau Garbarini had his first varsity hit, an RBI single, while Joe Pion also had his first hit, a triple.
Granby 12, Putnam 4 — The Rams jumped all over the Beavers with an eight-run first inning in a home win.
Noah Bleakley had a two-run single to start the big inning for Granby (4-1).
Matt Bleakley had three hits and two RBIs, while Joe Desormier added three RBIs for Granby.
Tyler Sullivan chipped in with three hits for the Rams.
Tom Rezzani went four innings with four strikeouts and two earned runs to pick up the win.

Agawam 8, Amherst Regional 2 — Jake Balderston had a sacrifice fly and Alex Cantor added an RBI single but the Hurricanes (1-4) couldn’t muster much off Agawam’s Joe Oliver.
Southwick 13, Hampshire 3 — Noah Batchelder went 3 for 4 with a double for the Raiders.
Matt York, Everett Warner and Garrett Kowal all went 1 for 3.
Easthampton 4, Hopkins Academy 1 — Brandon Bennett went six innings with six strikeouts to get the win for the Eagles (2-1).
Dawson Wolcott had two hits and two RBIs.
Jon Morrison had six strikeouts in defeat for the Golden Hawks (3-1).
Belchertown 20, St. Mary 4 — Ben Magarian had six goals and three assists, while Adam Wordsworth added four and three, respectively, as the Orioles (2-2) rolled at home.
Grant Irving added three goals and five assists, and Ray Langevin chipped in with two goals and five helpers.
Jaxon Royal (assist), Ben Laliberte (assist) and Nick Makkiya each scored their first varsity goal.
Aidan Lyons (assist) and Jack Medina also scored, while Ryan Potter (assist) picked up his first varsity point.
Ryan McCarthy (three saves) and Nate Jaszek (seven saves) shared time in net.
Westfield 14, South Hadley 4 — Marcus Larrier scored twice, while Griffin Fitzell and Jason Fernandes each had one in the loss for the Tigers (2-3).
Corey Calkins had four saves. Pat Crotty had three assists in the loss.
Wachonah 9, Granby 2 — Drew Wiesel had both goals for the Rams (1-3), and Jack Sarnacki had an assist.
Nick Albers had 17 saves.
Belchertown 20, Amherst 7 — Emma Jopson and Audrey Duhaime led the charge for the Orioles, each netting five goals a piece, while Kate Bowers and Abby Robinson each scored four. Sarah Fournier also provided two goals.
Malia MacDonald was the leading goal scorer for the Hurricanes, scoring three, while Meghan Sharick netted two. Gianna Catalano and Malia Kern also scored a goal a piece.
Kailey Pacheco had 17 saves in for Belchertown, while Savannah Robinson had 14 for Amherst.
Granby 21, Monson 20 — Kate Sarnacki scored 10 goals, while Hailey O’Connor and Emily Whitacre each had three as the Rams (3-1) held on for the road win.
