NORTHAMPTON — Authorities have not publicly identified a man who was found Friday morning hanged to death in a tree near the bike path off Hatfield and Locust streets.
Northampton Police and Massachusetts State Police responded to the area around 9:15 a.m. and discovered a deceased 37-year-old man, according to the Northwestern district attorney’s office.
No foul play is suspected, and the man’s next of kin were notified, police said.
