Jordan Strum struck out 10 and drove in two runs on three hits as the Williston Northampton softball team won 16-1 at Pomfret on Wednesday.
Delaney Belinskas went 2-for-3 with five RBIs for Williston (2-1), while Gabby jones had two hits and scored three runs.
Williston 3, Pomfret 2 – Derek Zerinski drove in two runs with a fifth-inning double in a road win, Wednesday.
Patrick Beaton picked up the save, while Daylon Thompson struck out six in six and a third innings of work.
JT Chamberlain pushed the third run for Williston (4-0) across with a sacrifice fly.
Williston 19, Wilbraham and Monson 9 – Ten Wildcats scored in a road win.
Kevin O’Sullivan dominated the facoffs for Williston, winning 20-of-25.
Nick Garofano scored three goals and dished out four assists for Williston (3-3).
Williston 15, Westminister 4 – Meg Szawlowski had five goals and four assists for the Wildcats.
Williston (6-0) also had major offensive contributions from Fiona Bundy (four goals), Olivia Bonavita (three) and Caroline Wysocki (two).
Berkshire 7, Williston 0 – The Wildcats fell to Berkshire and are now 2-2.
Williston 5, Westminister 4– The Wildcats won at No. 1, No. 5 and No. 6 singles and at No.1 and No. 3 doubles to defeat Westminister for the first time in seven years.
Julie Lord’s win at No.1 singles for the Wildcats (5-0) kept her undefeated on the season.
Cheshire Academy– Williston scored 93, Cheshire scored 52 and Millbrook scored 30.

Williston 198, Deerfield 202, Wilbraham 248– Jack Phelan shot one under par for the Wildcats nine-hole sweep of Deerfield and Wilbraham and Monson.
Tyler Senecal of South Hadley shot a 37 on a par 35 for the Wildcats (4-2).
Williston 5, Ethel Walker 0, Loomis 3, Williston 2– Sabrina Sampson shot a 45 and was a medalist for the Wildcats (3-3).
Loomis 15, Williston 7– Abbie Coscia led the Wildcats with five goals.
Dylan Fulcher Melendy and Lizzy Cuevas both spent time in goal for the Wild Cats (0-3). Fulcher Melendy had six saves while Cuevas had four.
Williston 11, Northfield Mount Hermon 8– Matt Otting caught three scores for the Wildcats.
On top of his three scores, Otting threw two scores. Matt Folger caught four scores and threw three for the Wildcats (2-1).
