The South Hadley boys tennis team made Belchertown work, but the Orioles stayed undefeated with a 4-1 win, Thursday in Belchertown.
Spencer Caron and Connor Berenson sealed the match with a 6-3, 6-0 victory over Nate Piligian and Clay Koppi at second doubles.
Cyrus Raines and Alec Morgado were first off for Belchertown with a 6-2, 6-0 win over Max Scheller and Gavin Lipp at first doubles.
Jon Vinagre followed for Belchertown with a 6-3, 6-1 win over Austin Ford at third singles.
Ryan Kearney defeated Connor Barbacki 6-4, 6-1 at second singles to give Belchertown (6-0) a 4-0 lead.
South Hadley’s Matt Gelinas held off Trent Zulkiewicz 3-6, 6-1, 6-3 at first singles for the Tigers (2-3).
The schedule gets challenging for Belchertown. After playing Westfield on Friday, the Orioles face Agawam, Minnechaug and Northampton next week.
