Emma Jopson had four goals and four assists to surpass a milestone for the Belchertown girls lacrosse team Monday.

Jopson recorded her 200th career point on the first possession in a 16-5 victory over Chicopee.

Audrey Duhaime had five goals, while Abigail Robinson had four in the win.

Kate Bowers scored two goals and had four assists for the Orioles (3-3, 1-0 Valley League).

West Springfield 16, Amherst 15 — Meghan Sharick and Malia MacDonald each scored six goals in a road loss.

Taya Mathers made eight saves for the Hurricanes (1-6, 0-5 Valley).

Boys lacrosse

Belchertown 15, Monson 6 — Adam Wordsworth led the way with four goals and two assists in a road win.

Ray Langevin and Grant Irving each added three goals for Belchertown (3-2, 2-1 Suburban).

Jack Medina and Ben Magarian scored twice, with one of Magarian’s goals caroming off a defender’s helmet.

TJ Englert carried the ball from the defensive side of the field and scored from the midfield line to end a quarter.

Bryan McCarthy made 14 saves for the Orioles.

Boys volleyball

Southwick 3, Smith Vocational 0 — Jake Wilson had 14 digs, five kills and seven assists in a 25-20, 25-10, 25-22 home loss.

Wendell Padilla-Garcia led the Vikings (0-2) with seven kills and added 12 digs, two blocks and five assists.

Isaac Nezario and Malcom Reyes-Stoneham both fired two aces.

Boys ultimate

Northampton 15, Four Rivers 7 — Sylvan Norris made three interceptions to get the home crowd behind the Blue Devils.

“They changed the tone of the game,” Northampton coach Lee Feldster said. “They came at big points, and we scored off the turnovers.”

Norris scored three times and made four defensive blocks.

Zach Levitt scored three times and threw six assists, while Reed Young scored four goals.
