Strong singles play lifted the Northampton boys tennis team to a 3-2 win over Minnechaug on Monday at Minnechaug.

Alex Zimbaist defeated Jack Dumala 6-0, 6-1 at No. 1 singles, Leon Moore won 6-1, 6-3 over Rob Koziol at No. 2 singles and Jack Denhart prevailed 6-1, 6-0 over Connor Turley at No. 3 singles.

The Blue Devils (1-4, 1-2 Valley) earned their first win of the season.
