WILLIAMSBURG – A contest for a seat on the town’s water and sewer commission is the only race in Monday’s town election.
The three candidates seeking two seats are incumbents Eric Cerreta, 157 Main St., and James Hyslip, 29 Petticoat Hill Road. They are opposed by Kenneth Taylor, of 13 Williams St.
Polls will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the town offices at 141 Main St. in Haydenville.
Running unopposed are Dave Mathers, 7 Eastern Ave., Select Board, three-year term; Glenn Everett, 40 Hemenway Road, assessor, three-year term; Donna Gibson, 110 Nash Hill Road, Board of Health, three-year term; Cynthia Barker, 48 South St., board of library trustees, three-year term; Charlotte Meryman, three-year term; Charles Heath, 83 Mountain St., Finance Committee, three-year term; Richard Kisloski, 12 Cole Road, Finance Committee, three-year term; Linda Rowley, 3 Hatfield St., Finance Committee, three-year term; Eric Cerreta, 157 Main St., elector Oliver Smith will, one-year term; Brenda Lessard, 42 Nash Hill Road, town clerk, three-year term.
Also, Eileen Stewart, 7 Petticoat Hill Road, Hampshire Council of Governments, three-year term; David Chase, 99 Adams Road, town School Committee, three-year term; Joseph Larkin, 3 Judd Lane, moderator, three-year term; Alan Golash, 29 Kingsley Ave., Recreation Commission, three-year term; Joel Strate, 56 South St., Recreation Commission, three-year term; Carl Schlerman, 11 South St., regional School Committee, three-year term; Nathan Rosewarne, 89 Ashfield Road, treasurer, three-year term; Rischard Kisloski, 12 Cole Road, trust fund Cemetery Commission, three-year term.
