Several homeless people loitering at the West Cemetery, 204 Triangle St., at 7:22 p.m. Tuesday told police they were discussing where they will go after the Craig’s Place homeless shelter closes Sunday. They were sent on their way.
Nystasia A. Betancourt, 22, of North Adams, was arrested at 12:51 p.m. Tuesday when an officer stopped her vehicle on Main Street. Betancourt had a warrant issued by Northampton District Court for operating without a license from 2014, police said.
