CHESTERFIELD — All incumbents were reelected without opposition in Monday’s town election.
A total of 143 people, or 15.7 percent of the town’s 908 registered voters, cast ballots
There were no contested races and these incumbents were all reelected: Robert W. Recos, 49, Sugar Hill Road, Select Board, three years, and Hampshire County councilor, three years; Edward Severance, 199 Main Road, assessor, three years; Kirke R. Henshaw, 130 Cummington Road, Board of Health, three years; Charles Valencik, 75 Smith Road, Planning Board, three years; and Matthew Smith, East Street, constable, three years.
Russell J. Peotter, of 120 South St., was elected to the open position of moderator for three years, and Eileen McGowan, of 214 Bryant St., was elected to the open position of library trustee for three years.
