As my family heads into our final stretch at the often lovely Northampton High School, I can’t help feeling truly sad at the many missed opportunities we’ve had to push school start time later in the day for our students.
After unsuccessfully fighting for one important change for the past 10 years, I’m astonished by the families who fought so hard against it, particularly the very small number of Smith professors and social workers opposed to it.
